We purchased the freehold of the Lamb Inn from WJ King & Co in September 2007 after successfully running The Lamb Inn as a tenancy for four and a half years. We will now be running the pub as a free house, with the same “hands-on” approach and the same focus on good quality local food and beer, fine wines and friendly service.

This West Sussex pub and restaurant
greets you wiith period features, including stone flag stones,
old wood floors, ancient wooden beams and bits calculated
to guide your thinking towards old England. Which is a good
thing because the food derives from there and progresses
through the various ethnic additions of the last forty or
so years to emerge triumphantly British with a modern twist.
When the weather gets cooler,
an open fire unusually double sided is lit, and when it
gets really cold, we even light a wood-burning stove to
compliment the central heating. In good weather there is
plenty of seating outside on the front and side patios.
